My Story.

My two wheeled journey started out on motorbikes but after watching the Fort William Downhill World Cup in 2002, I was instantly hooked and made the transition to MTB’ing.

It began simply, we’d build jumps up in the local community woodland and each day make them bigger and bigger; the progression was real. I’d grown up riding Motorcycle Trials with my Dad and the competitive nature of it, led me to competing in Downhill. The first race didn’t bring much success, in fact; I didn’t finish! After a few years racing regional events here in Scotland, I progressed to National events and then set sights on racing World Cups, I competed in my first as a Junior in 2018 and from there balanced MTB racing with studying Mechanical Engineering.

When Enduro came around I jumped at it, it seemed a really natural progression as I regularly rode my trail bike for training. In 2014, after graduating with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering, I joined a factory team and raced two full seasons of the Enduro World Series - it was the opportunity of a lifetime. I rode some of the best trails in the world and this sparked a whole new love for the sport as I began discovering where my bike could really take me.

As my racing career came to a close, I joined GMBN, mountain bikings biggest media outlet as a presenter. Here, I learnt about the growth of online marketing and content creation which sparked a whole new chapter and ultimately led to a different career pathway. After producing over 400 videos there ranging from weekly cycling shows to how’s to, I decided to go my own direction and begin my own journey in content creation and storytelling.

Now, I’ve partnered with some of the best brands in the cycling industry and work with them on sharing stories showcasing where your mountain bike can really take you and what it can do for you. My bike has taken me around the world and I’ve ridden some of the best trails in the world.

On a 10-day adventure I explored Italy’s mountain bike trails, discovered the breathtaking landscapes, soaked up the country's culture.
